10

10 things I remember about the day we were married 10 years ago.

1. We were married at Crestview Church of Christ in Waco, Texas by Clint's former youth minister, Scott Tally.

2. There were intense thunderstorms and a tornadic weather system rumbling through the area on the evening of our wedding.

3. Clint surprised me by singing a Geoff Moore song "If You could see what I see" to me as I walked down the aisle.

4. Both cakes were incredible. The bride's cake was beautiful and made even more perfect by the way the table was decorated and the flower petals in the tuille were hanging overhead, making it a perfect bride's table. The groom's chocolate cakes with strawberries were "to die for." Clint talked about that cake for years after the event.

5. We bribed my nephew Josh who was just a little guy at the time by giving him a Star Wars At At in exchange for actually coming down the aisle as our ringbearer.

6. We have this picture of all these women trying to get my bussle attached. I can't remember if we ever figured it out or not.

7. The cake lady's helpers absconded with the monogrammed candy bars we had ordered for party favors. Shame on them!

8. Clint gave me a seiko watch as a wedding gift to me. He replaced this watch with an identical one a few years ago after the jewelry shop we left it at for a battery replacement closed for business and fled with all the merchandise, including my watch.

9. The reception food was incredible and none of it catered. My awesome family made and served it all. Clint and I got a big picnic basket with lots of goodies from the reception and we ate it on our way to Dallas.

10. We left the reception in a limo. This was my first and only limo ride and it was definitely an exciting trip to Dallas.

Tracy, do you remember that picture we took at my wedding of your hand, diane's hand, and my hand? We all had new diamond solitaire rings. I've always loved that picture of us at that time of our lives. I think that all the guys were sharing info on how to buy engagement rings on what was that thing like instant messenger? I know Clint still has an account.
