Snow in April?

This past weekend Victoria and a greater portion of the Northwest got a lovely surprise of late-spring snow. Personally, I am soooo ready for some warmer weather, but apparently it is not yet to be. The kids and I built a couple of small snowmen with measuring cups for hats and the traditional carrot nose. Then we all went for a drive to higher elevation so the kids could play in the snow. We drove up a road called The Malahat to neat scenic overlook. The kids had a great time, mostly throwing snowballs at Dad. Surely summer is on the way.

I have to say I'm a little jealous of your snow. It's waaaayyy too warm today for my liking.

If I had written a post about the weather here the title would have been, "Humidity in April!"

Thanks for sharing the fun pictures. Ben and Annie will like them.
