This year to celebrate Halloween, the kids and I walked one block to a church in our neighborhood that was hosting a Harvest Festival. The kids got to trick or treat there and play a lot of carnival style games. Ethan dressed up as Indiana Jones. Laurel was a princess. And Malcolm was an adorable puppy dog. It didn't take long for Malcolm to get the hang of the trick or treat thing. Other Halloween activities included:Laurel and I decorating cookies in the shapes of pumpkins, bats, and ghosts. And our good friend Nicholas helping the kids and I carve a pumpkin. We lit tea light candles in it and everyone thought it was really cool.
