Been awhile

Yes, I haven't blogged for ages. Life has been crazy as we have spent the last month in transition from our warm Waco home to our new and substantially chillier home in Victoria, British Columbia. The Lord has been so good to us and wonderfully faithful. He kept us safe as we drove all those miles, He has provided Christians here to welcome us with a cupboard full of food, various gifts, hands to unload all our stuff, mouths to pray over us, and ears to listen to all the questions we have had getting settled into a new culture. I, personally, have had moments in which I have been incredibly excited about being here in this beautiful place that holds so many fond memories for me(Clint and I honeymooned here almost 10 years ago) followed by moments in which I have been terribly homesick for our family back home in Texas. I am ready to get off this emotional roller coaster as it were;it is not all that fun a place to be. One thing that I am thankful for-- being so emotional has left me with no recourse but to cling to Him and find shelter and safety in the presence of His wings. My family has been encouraged by all the mail we have gotten from the saints in Waco. I have also had numerous email correspondence with some saints there that has been so precious to me and my walk with our Lord. So I thought it fitting to rename my blog in honor of a fresh start in a new location. I want this blog to be a place where Jesus is lifted up and glorified. I am confident the Lord has many wonderful plans for his children both in Waco and in Victoria. And I want to share what He's doing in my life. I have been too busy to take many pictures.
