Tower Bridge

Ethan was too excited when he got his birthday present in the mail from Benjamin the other day. We began working on it immediately. A wooden puzzle of Tower Bridge in London. For now it is the centerpiece for our dining room table. Thanks, Benjamin.

Ben was happy to see the bridge completed. Ethan looks so proud. I am so glad to discover that USPS can deliver international packages (even if it's at a snails pace).

love you guys! -maria

My Dad has found that they are considerably cheaper. Yes, it is truly snail mail.

Yes, using USPS is much better on two fronts:

1. price
2. typically you won't see a duty charge like you will almost every time with FEDEX or UPS.

yeah, FedExKinkos wanted over $100 to send that stuff to you a few weeks back. I was worried about "duty" too....guess they didn't charge that. I sent that box via USPS for $15 ---so, it was a tenth of the cost. :)

The duty would be from my end....they will call me from a receiving center and we arrange a broker. Unless I already have it paid for and arranged by Amazon, etc.
