10 things i love about my husband on our 10-year anniversary

If you've met Clint, you know what I mean when I say he is passionate about what he believes in, the people in his life, and any endeavor he undertakes. Using the acrostic PASSIONATE here are 10 things I love about my very passionate husband Clint McPhee.

P Provider. My husband is a wonderful provider for his family. Even more important
than bringing home funds to pay all the bills and put food on the
table, he provides for us spiritually.

A Adoration. My husband loves his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ with whole-hearted
devotion. This passion defines who he is as a man. Clint also adores
his children and is a sensational father. His love for them is
manifest in the time he spends playing and reading and building
things with them.

S Savvy shopper. Before you get the wrong idea, Clint's shopping is mostly confined
to ebay purchases that have been researched, sometimes for many
months prior to the purchase. Sometimes he buys things for such a
steal he can't pass up the temptation to resell it at a higher
price to make a profit.

S Self learner. When my husband has a question about how something works, no
problem. He'll just Google it, do a little research on it, and
apply his newfound knowledge accordingly. And because he enjoys
learning, he knows a little about a lot of things. I never could
understand why he hates board games so much since he's one of the
smartest people I know, especially when it comes to general
knowledge.

I Intensity Whatever Clint attempts, he does it with intensity. Whether it be
a play in a football game, a paint ball war, or a simple assignment
from his wife like, "Would you build a space shuttle for Ethan's
birthday party?" he undertakes the task with full heart.

O Outdoors-kind-of-guy My husband loves being outdoors in nature. He loves to hike
and be in the mountains (preferably snow-capped), and he enjoys all
the recreational opportunities that come along with being outdoors.
He also finds beauty in birds, another outdoor passion that he
shares with me. I can just see us when we're old; we'll be those odd
binocular-toting birders you see who are traveling to Costa Rica for
a chance to see the Respendant Quetzal.

N No challenge is too big. One thing I really admire about Clint, is that he really
believes that anything is possible. It's just a matter of educating
oneself and finding available resources. So, if something needs to
be repaired or built, just google it or ask an expert.
Then proceed with caution, but by all means proceed. Has every
project always succeeded? Of course not. But things have been
accomplished that I never would have fathomed attempting. Let's
just say I have lived through 3 house remodels and there were plenty
of opportunities to put this adage to the test.

A Adventure. Clint thrives on adventure. This summer he undertook the adventure
of hiking the West Coast Trail. He loves exploring new places and
attempting new feats. Since we had kids, most of our adventures
consist of driving someone where we have never been before, hiking
to the top of the hill or mountain and enjoying the view.

T Thankful. My husband expresses his thanks in everyday acts of kindness. He
helps me with the dishes after we eat, and he verbally thanks me for
the stuff I do around the house. It is such a breath of fresh air to
hear a thank-you at the end of the day.

E Encourager. Clint is a great encourager to me and others. Recently, he
encouraged me to enter a race i wasn't sure I could complete. I've
also seen how he is able to love others through the gift of
encouragement.

I love that the word you chose had 10 letters in it--how long did it take to pick it? Or did it just come to you? How fun. =)

And a wonderful tribute to your man.

I wasn't planning on doing that at all and then, when I was tweaking these 10 thoughts I had, I thought about wanting to put in his overall passionate temperament and somehow it just clicked that passionate had 10 letters. I wasn't sure if it would work, but it really only took me about 45 minutes to incorporate my 10 ideas into the letters for passionate and it was perfect because it's just general enough that it can work for all the other more specific thoughts. Thanks for noticing cause I was really excited when that worked.

I am extremely impressed with your writing skills and also with
the layout on your blog. Is this a paid theme or did you
customize it yourself? Anyway keep up the excellent quality writing, it
is rare to see a nice blog like this one these days.
